Second Stage Round 7: Hoganas - Lobas 68-72

Very expected game when 8th ranked Hoganas (2-11) lost at home to fourth ranked Lobas (7-7) 72-68 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 18-6 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Lobas dominated on the defensive end, holding Hoganas to just 6 points in fourth quarter. It was a very good performance for forward Stefan Alavuk (201-98) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Filip Lindstrom (193-96) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian guard Aurimas Bulsis (196-91) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Evaldas Juozapaitis (189-84) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Hoganas. Lobas maintains fourth place in BEHS forts with 7-7 record. Hoganas lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Lobas will face league's second-placed Eskilstuna on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hoganas will play against RIG Mark (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
