Regular Season Round 24: Gimle BBK - Tromso 80-67

Not a big story in a game in Bergen where 8th ranked Tromso (9-18) was defeated by third ranked Gimle BBK (17-10) 80-67. Tromso was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The winners were led by American guard Nick Victor (196-92, college: Yale) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Daniel Berg (195-86, college: NYIT) supported him with 24 points. Gimle BBK's coach Audun Eskeland used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 16 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals by guard Hani Issalhi (191-84) did not help to save the game for Tromso. Guard Henrik Lange (189-95) added 13 points. Gimle BBK have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 17-10 record having six points less than leader Kongsberg, which they share with Froya Basket. Tromso at the other side keeps the eighth place with 18 games lost.
