Regular Season Round 20: Aulnoye - CFBB 74-83

Bottom-ranked CFBB managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the four-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they won against tenth-ranked Aulnoye 83-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aulnoye. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-74. CFBB made 31-of-36 free shots (86.1 percent) during the game, while Aulnoye only scored twelve points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Kadiatou Sissoko (180-99) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Tima Pouye (176-99) who added 23 points (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest. Four CFBB players scored in double figures. Point guard Clementine Morateur (176-95) responded with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Maud Medenou (189-90) scored 21 points and 4 blocks. CFBB maintains fourteenth position with 4-16 record. Loser Aulnoye dropped to the ninth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with SIG. CFBB will meet at home higher ranked Arras (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Aulnoye will play against Toulouse (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
