Fifth-ranked Distrito Olimpico (12-9) was very close to win a game against third ranked Leganes (16-5) on Saturday. Leganes managed to secure only three-point victory 69-66. However their fans expected easier game. Swingman Maria Espin (180-89) nailed 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and guard Marta Perez (177-94) accounted for 18 points. Swingman Maria Bolonio (180-85) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Daira Varas (193-89) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Distrito Olimpico in the defeat. Distrito Olimpico's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Leganes keeps a position of Group B leader, which they share with Estudiantes and Alcobendas.
