The game in Vimpeli supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Forssan Alku (13-12) played at the court of seventh ranked ViVe (11-14). ViVe smashed Forssan Alku 97-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. ViVe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. ViVe outrebounded Forssan Alku 34-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Forssan Alku's players. The game was dominated by American players. Swingman Lele Hardy (182-88, college: Clemson) scored 18 points, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and forward Deven Hunter (190-94, college: Oregon St.) chipped in 11 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Five ViVe players scored in double figures. Guard Ashley Clark (180-93, college: Tulsa) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Tyonna Snow (178-93, college: Missouri St.) scored 19 points and 5 steals. Forssan Alku's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. ViVe have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kouvot. Loser Forssan Alku keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. ViVe will meet Espoo Team (#8) on the road in the next round. Forssan Alku will play against Espoo Utd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
