Second Stage Round 7: Huddinge - RIG Mark 85-75

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Huddinge (6-6) won against at home 7th ranked RIG Mark (4-10) 85-75 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 49-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for Jamaal Sakariya (-93) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 assists. Serbian Filip Bogdanovic (-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Huddinge players scored in double figures. Naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (189-99) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Tim Carlsten (183-0) added 21 points in the effort for RIG Mark. RIG Mark's coach Michael Bree rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Huddinge maintains fifth place in BEHS forts with 6-6 record. RIG Mark lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Huddinge will face league's second-placed Eskilstuna on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. RIG Mark will play against Hoganas (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
