Regular Season Round 21: Adareva - Rivas Promete 79-65

Everything could happen in SC Laguna at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Adareva and 6th ranked Rivas Promete had identical 11-9 record. This time Adareva used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Rivas 79-65 on Saturday night. It was a great shooting night for Adareva especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. It was a good game for Chilean point guard Sendy Basaez (170-96) who led her team to a victory with 23 points. Forward Eva Serra (183-83) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Adareva's coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Lithuanian power forward Dovile Miliauskaite (187-89, college: Towson, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Marta Blanes (184-77) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Rivas Promete. Adareva (12-9) moved-up to fifth place in Group B, which they share with Distrito Olimpico and Antiguo Boscos. Rivas Promete lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Adareva will face higher ranked C.Adelantados (#4) in San Cristobal in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rivas Promete will play against Batalyaws (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
