Very predictable result when sixth ranked Strasbourg IG (12-9) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Sluc Nancy (4-17) 80-71. The guests were already 17 points ahead at halftime and as many as 20 after three quarters before a 21-10 last quarter charge of Sluc Nancy cut the lead to 80-71 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Sluc Nancy 41-30 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Strasbourg IG players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for international center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (208-94, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. The former international guard Paul Lacombe (195-90, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Strasbourg IG players scored in double figures. Strasbourg IG's coach Vincent Collet allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American-Montenegrin point guard Brion Rush (186-84, college: Grambling St., agency: Three Eye Sports) answered with 22 points and Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sluc Nancy.
