Sixth-ranked Rahoveci (6-12) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Bashkimi (15-3). The visitors from Prizren managed to secure only two-point victory 83-81. However their fans expected much easier game. Bashkimi outrebounded Rahoveci 22-11. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds and Montenegrin Marko Popovic (200-85) who added 18 points during the contest. Power forward Mustafe Merovci (202-88) responded with 17 points and forward Artin Gashi (203-93) scored 16 points. Bashkimi have an impressive five-game winning streak. They used an opportunity after Sigal Prishtina lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Rahoveci lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. Bashkimi will play against Peja (#3) in Peje in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rahoveci will play on the road against the league's leader Sigal Prishtina and hopes to get back on the winning track.
