The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Aanekosken's (7-18) home loss to eighth ranked Espoo Team (10-15) 60-67. It looked good early as Aanekosken took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Espoo Team took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 7 points. They also forced 28 Aanekosken turnovers. International swingman Lotta Aaltonen (180-85, college: Coker) notched 19 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Tierra Henderson (178-87, college: UCLA) supported her with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds by American center Kenya Robinson (183-70, college: New Orleans) did not help to save the game for Aanekosken. Ghanian forward Batabe Zempare (188-94, college: CSU Bakersfield, agency: LBM Management) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Four Aanekosken players scored in double figures.
