Everything went according to plan when third ranked Syntex Ksiezak (21-5) defeated 5th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (16-10) in Lowicz 82-68 on Sunday. Syntex Ksiezak forced 19 Tur Bielsk Pdl. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Point guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 5 assists. Forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Syntex Ksiezak players scored in double figures. Power forward Tomasz Pisarczyk (202-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Tur Bielsk Pdl.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Syntex Ksiezak have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 21-5 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Slask Wroclaw. Loser Tur Bielsk Pdl. keeps the fifth place with ten games lost.
