Rather expected game when 5th ranked Rawia (16-8) lost to third ranked Sudety (18-6) in Jelenia Gora 73-81 on Sunday. Sudety made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Strangely Rawia outrebounded Sudety 43-26 including a 20-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sudety made 9 blocks. Power forward Pawel Minciel (203-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks. Guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Swingman Szymon Maciolek (190-91) replied with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Jedrzej Jankowiak (183-83, agency: Promotex) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Rawia.
