Eighth-ranked Melsele (9-13) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Houthalen (14-9) on Sunday. Houthalen managed to secure only one-point victory 58-57. However their fans expected easier game. Houthalen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 14-9 record. Loser Melsele keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Royal Brussels. Houthalen will meet league's second-placed Oxaco in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Melsele will play against Gistel Oostende (#12) and hope to secure a win.
