2Liga top team - Slask (22-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Kalisz (4-20) 92-68. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (206-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). Forward Mateusz Stawiak (203-96) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Swingman Artur Mrowczynski (194-84) replied with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Lukasz Wojciechowski (184-88) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for Kalisz. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slask have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-2 record. Kalisz lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with 20 games lost.
