An interesting game for AIK (8-1) which played road game in Trelleborg against 4th placed Trelleborg (4-6). Second ranked AIK had an easy win 102-76. The game without a history. AIK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AIK outrebounded Trelleborg 39-27 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Serkan Inan (201-86) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Turkish guard Erkan Inan (195-89) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Five AIK players scored in double figures. Guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) produced 26 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jordan-Gerami Lou (-97) added 13 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted AIK maintains second place in Superettan with 8-1 record having 4 victories less than leader IK Eos. Trelleborg at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. AIK's next round opponent will be league's leader Djurgarden at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trelleborg will play again against the league's second-placed AIK (#2) in Solna and hope to win that game.
