No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (10-12) beat 13th ranked Zaragoza (7-15) in Madrid 93-80 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. Zaragoza was better in second period 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montenegrin center Blagota Sekulic (210-82) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: BeoBasket) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Sergi Garcia (193-97) added 12 points and 7 assists in the effort for Zaragoza. Four Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and five Zaragoza players scored in double figures. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada moved-up to tenth place. Zaragoza lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada will face higher ranked Valencia Basket (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zaragoza will play against Blusens Monbus (#16) and hope to win that game.
