There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Rosa III Radom (6-20) won against at home higher ranked Zubry (13-13) 74-60 on Sunday. Rosa III Radom forced 21 Zubry turnovers and outrebounded them 50-33 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rosa III Radom made 8 blocks. Forward Szymon Szymanski (205-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. Maciej Parszewski (195-94) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) replied with 22 points and 5 rebounds and Andrzej Misiewicz (199-84, college: Daytona St. CC) added 3 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Zubry. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rosa III Radom moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Start Lublin II. Newly promoted Zubry keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost.
