Second Stage Round 7: Talje - RIG Mark 63-66

A very close game took place in Talje between RIG Mark and Talje Knights. Seventh ranked RIG Mark (4-10) got a very close victory on the road over 6th ranked Talje Knights (3-10). RIG Mark managed to escape with a 3-point win 66-63 in the fight for the sixth place. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Talje Knights won third quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. RIG Mark looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Kevin Senghore-Peterson (198-98) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Ludvig Johansson (177-98) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Swingman Oskar Holm (197-98) came up with 24 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Greek guard Dimitris Agathangelidis (182-98) added 19 points and 8 assists respectively for Talje Knights in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. RIG Mark moved-up to sixth place in BEHS forts. Talje Knights lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. RIG Mark will meet Hoganas (#8) on the road in the next round. Talje Knights will play against the league's leader IK Eos and hope to secure a win.
