Very expected game when 9th ranked Vigarano (5-14) was smashed on the road by third ranked Venezia (15-3) 73-47. The game without a history. Venezia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Vigarano to just 2 points in fourth quarter. Venezia forced 21 Vigarano turnovers and outrebounded them 37-24 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86, agency: LBM Management) fired 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Silvia Favento (185-85) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Five Venezia players scored in double figures.
