The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Sammic ISB as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Sammic ISB defeated 7th ranked Moron in Azpeitia 83-75. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 45-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Moron helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
