We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (5-13) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Hapoel Z/MM (5-13) 80-72 on Monday. The game was dominated by American players. Swingman Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St.) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Center Britany Miller (192-87, college: Florida St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Ashley Beverly-Kelley (168-93, college: Troy) produced 25 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: LBM Management) added 10 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Hapoel Z/MM and four Hap.Petah Tikva players scored in double figures. Hapoel Z/MM moved-up to eighth place in Places 7-9, which they share with defeated Hap.Petah Tikva. Hapoel Z/MM will meet higher ranked Ramat Hasharon (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hap.Petah Tikva will have a break next round.
