Rather expected game in Junin where 9th ranked Hispano Am. (12-28) was defeated by sixth ranked Argentino (18-19) 87-70 on Tuesday. American guard Novar Gadson (201-89, college: Rider, agency: DTMones) fired 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Emiliano Basabe (193-92) chipped in 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Argentino players scored in double figures. American power forward Rashaun Freeman (206-84, college: Massachusetts) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman Mariano Byro (194-82) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Argentino moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Hispano Am. keeps the ninth position with 28 games lost. Argentino will face league's second-placed Ferrocarril in Buenos Aires in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
