The game with biggest result difference took place in Rio. Local Pinar (15-6) beat 5th ranked Santiago (8-12) 79-61. The former international point guard Osmel Oliva (178-87) nailed 24 points for the winning side and Diagmani Vazquez (192-87) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Pinar players scored in double figures. The former international forward Esteban Martinez (192-87) came up with 24 points and guard Roigelis Ochoa (190-93) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Santiago in the defeat.
