Regular Season Round 25: Bauru - B.Cearense 78-72

Date: March 9, 2017
Very predictable result when fourth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (16-9) won against at home 11th ranked SKY/Basquete (10-13) 78-72 on Thursday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Paschoalotto/Bauru looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for international guard Alex Garcia (191-80, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international power forward Shilton Santos (198-82) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. The former international point guard David Rossetto (180-93) answered with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international guard Eduardo Machado (193-82) added 13 points in the effort for SKY/Basquete. Paschoalotto/Bauru maintains fourth place with 16-9 record. Loser SKY/Basquete keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru will face Vivo/Franca (#5) in Sao Paulo in the next round. SKY/Basquete will play on the road against Universo/Vitoria (#6) in Salvador and hope to win that game.
