Fourth-ranked Kyoto Hannar. (20-23) made lots of trouble for first ranked Toshiba Thunders (37-6) in Kanagawa on Friday. Toshiba Thunders managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected easier game. Kyoto Hannar. trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 28-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 80-83 at the end of the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Kyoto Hannar. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
