There was a small surprise in Plaza Huincul where sixth ranked Petr.Argentino (10-18) beat 6th ranked Gimnasia LP (10-20) 100-96 on Friday. Petr.Argentino made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Gimnasia LP turnovers and had a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Cedric Blossom (198, college: Morgan St., agency: DTMones) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Darnell Dodson (201-89, college: S.Mississippi, agency: DTMones) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Leonardo La-Bella (180-86) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 assists and forward Maximiliano Segon (200-91) added 28 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Petr.Argentino maintains sixth place with 10-18 record which they share with defeated Gimnasia LP.
