Regular Season Round 27: Forca Lleida - Melilla 87-82

An interesting game took place in Lleida, where 6th ranked Melilla Baloncesto (16-11) lost to ninth ranked Lleida Basquet (15-12) in a road game 82-87. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Garrett Nevels (188-92, college: Hawaii) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Miguel Feliu (198-85) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Marcos Suka-Umu (192-85) came up with 21 points and 4 assists and point guard Pedro Rivero (186-79) added 18 points respectively for Melilla Baloncesto in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Lleida Basquet moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ourense. Melilla Baloncesto at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Lleida Basquet's next round opponent will be higher ranked Leyma Basquet (#7) in Coruna and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
