Regular Season Round 24: Moron - L'Hospitalet 66-59

Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Moron (13-11) won against 12th ranked L'Hospitalet (9-15) in Morón de la Frontera 66-59. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But L'Hospitalet won third quarter 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was point guard Javier Marin (190-92) who scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Senegalese center Mansour Kasse (208-92) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Gabriel Diaz-Morera (196-89) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Dominican power forward Michel Acosta (201-92) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively. L'Hospitalet's coach Jorge Tarragona rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Moron moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted L'Hospitalet keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Moron's next round opponent will be league's second-placed CB Granada on the road and it may be quite challenging game. L'Hospitalet will play against Meridiano Alicante (#4) and hope to win that game.
