Regular Season Round 28: St Vallier - Orchies 90-86

We should mention about the upset which took place in Saint Vallier, where higher ranked Orchesien BC (15-13) lost to eleventh ranked Saint Vallier (14-14) in a road game 86-90 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-14. But Orchesien BC won second period 31-29. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Steffon Bradford (198-77, college: Nebraska) fired 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Sade Aded-Hussein (208-93) chipped in 21 points. American point guard Benjamin Smith (178-87, college: Jacksonville) produced 19 points and 5 assists and Anthony Racine (190-94) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Saint Vallier and five Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Challans and Chartres. Orchesien BC lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with 13 games lost. Saint Vallier will face Lorient (#15) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
