An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kanagawa. First ranked Toshiba Thunders faced 4th ranked Kyoto Hannar.. Host Toshiba Thunders (37-6) defeated guests from Kyoto (20-23) 101-90. The game was mostly controlled by Toshiba Thunders. Kyoto Hannar. was better in fourth quarter 30-28. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Toshiba Thunders made 27-of-30 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game, while Kyoto Hannar. only scored eleven points from the stripe. Kyoto Hannar. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch.
