The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Orange Vikings' (23-20) road victory over 5th ranked Bambitious Nara (15-28) 81-74 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 31-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American forward Lawrence Blackledge (206-86, college: Marquette, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Blackledge is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) added 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Bambitious Nara. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Orange Vikings. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Yamagata. Bambitious Nara lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 28 games lost. Orange Vikings will have a break next round. Bambitious Nara will play again at home against Orange Vikings (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
