Regular Season Round 32: BSEU-GrandPrint - GOCOR-Sozh 108-55

There was no surprise in Minsk where 9th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (3-25) was crushed by sixth ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (12-18) 108-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. BSEU-GrandPrint led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to GOCOR-Sozh's 26. BSEU-GrandPrint forced 27 GOCOR-Sozh turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by GOCOR-Sozh's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Dmitri Paliashchuk (199-85, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Sergej Vabischevich (191-88) who added 23 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four BSEU-GrandPrint players scored in double figures. Power forward Aleksandr Kopacev (203-95) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Evgeniy Rybkin (195-96) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BSEU-GrandPrint have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 12-18 record. GOCOR-Sozh lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. BSEU-GrandPrint will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GOCOR-Sozh will play against Prinemanye (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
