We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Okapi Aalstar (12-12) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Limburg United (12-11) 88-83. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for forward Jordan Swing (198-90, college: UAB) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Point guard Jerime Anderson (187-89, college: UCLA) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. Limburg United's coach Brian Lynch used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Quincy Taylor (194-82, college: UAB, agency: Diamond Sports) came up with 26 points and Bill Amis (206-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Okapi Aalstar in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Limburg United moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kangoeroes. Okapi Aalstar at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. Limburg United will play against league's second-placed Antwerp Giants at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Okapi Aalstar will play against Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
