Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Talje Knights (3-11) were defeated at home by first ranked IK Eos (13-2) 95-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-78. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and guard Kofi Adanovur (188-91) who added 15 points during the contest. Four IK Eos players scored in double figures. Guard Samuel-Eliasson Godonou (185-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and swingman Oskar Holm (197-98) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. IK Eos have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in BEHS forts with 13-2 record, which they share with Eskilstuna. Talje Knights lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 11 games lost. IK Eos will face Lobas (#4) in Lomma in the next round. Talje Knights will play at home against Huddinge and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
