Regular Season Round 27: Znicz Basket - Notec Inowr. 89-66

There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Notec Inowr. (11-17) was smashed by thirteenth ranked Znicz Basket (10-17) in Pruszkow 89-66 on Saturday. Znicz Basket had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Swingman Damian Tokarski (193-88) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. Point guard Kamil Maciejewski (188-91) came up with 18 points and 4 assists and center Adam Lisewski (205-80) added 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Notec Inowr. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Znicz Basket maintains thirteenth place with 10-17 record. Loser Notec Inowr. dropped to the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Znicz Basket will meet higher ranked SKK Siedlce (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Notec Inowr. will play against GTK Gliwice where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
