Regular Season Round 39: Inter Bratislava - Nitra 115-57

Second ranked Inter Bratislava (27-9) crushed at home 11th ranked Nitra (3-31) by 58 points 115-57, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Inter Bratislava made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game, while Nitra only scored eight points from the stripe. Inter Bratislava forced 19 Nitra turnovers and outrebounded them 50-24 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Inter Bratislava looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian Nemanja Barac (194-90, agency: 011 Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) who recorded 20 points and Croatian forward Eddi Jurjevic (202-93) added 12 points respectively. Inter Bratislava have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 27-9 record having just one point less than leader Kosice. Nitra lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 31 lost games. Inter Bratislava will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nitra will play against the league's leader Kosice (#1) and hope to secure a win.
