Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Norrkoping Dolphins (11-15) and Visby Ladies (9-17), which took place in Visby. 6th ranked Norrkoping Dolphins were outleveled in a road game by ninth ranked Visby Ladies 93-57. It looked good early as Norrkoping Dolphins took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Visby Ladies had a 24-11 second period charge getting the lead and Norrkoping Dolphins were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 57-93. Visby Ladies dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Norrkoping Dolphins' 32. They outrebounded Norrkoping Dolphins 45-24 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Nicole Bauman (178, college: Wisconsin) stepped up and scored 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Canadian center Jose-Ann Johnson (193-93, college: Duquesne) chipped in 21 points. Four Visby Ladies players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Shanity James (183-93, college: UALR) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and center Ndey-Ramou Jeng (182-99) scored 6 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Visby Ladies maintains ninth place with 9-17 record. Norrkoping Dolphins lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 15 games lost. They share it with IK Eos. Visby Ladies will play against higher ranked Telge (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against Sallen and hope to get back on the winning track.
