Important game to mention about took place in Zamora. Twelfth ranked Zamarat (7-16) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked Mann Filter (10-13) 72-69 on Saturday evening. Zamarat forced 21 Mann Filter turnovers. It was a great evening for Montenegrin center Ana Turcinovic-Pocek (190-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. Brazilian forward Isabela Lyra (180-94) helped adding 18 points. Slovakian forward Katarina Tetemondova (188-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-94, college: S.Florida) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zamarat maintains twelfth place with 7-16 record. Mann Filter at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. Zamarat will play against higher ranked Universitario de Ferrol (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mann Filter will play against CREF Hola (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
