Regular Season Round 27: Espoo Team - ViVe 60-80

The game in Espoo supposed to be also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked ViVe (12-14) played at the court of 8th ranked Espoo Team (10-16). ViVe did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 80-60. The game was mostly controlled by ViVe. Espoo Team was better in fourth quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Espoo Team 44-30 including a 33-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. ViVe players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Espoo Team's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Deven Hunter (190-94, college: Oregon St.) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import swingman Lele Hardy (182-88, college: Clemson) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Tierra Henderson (178-87, college: UCLA) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and international swingman Lotta Aaltonen (180-85, college: Coker) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for ViVe. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kouvot. Espoo Team at the other side keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. ViVe's next round opponent will be Kouvottaret (#7) at home. Espoo Team will play against Forssan Alku and hope to win that game.
