The game in Aichi supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Tokyo HT (19-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Toyoda Gosei (5-25). Tokyo HT smashed Toyoda Gosei 77-36 on Sunday. Tokyo HT held Toyoda Gosei to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Tokyo HT had a 34-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tokyo HT made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Tokyo HT have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 19-11 record having eight points less than leader Kanazawa Sam. Loser Toyoda Gosei keeps the eighth position with 25 games lost. Tokyo HT will face Saitama Broncos (#7) at home in the next round. Toyoda Gosei will play against the league's leader Kanazawa Sam. and hope to win that game.
