No shocking result in a game in Montenegrano where first ranked Montegrano (20-1) outleveled 8th ranked Senigallia (10-11) 86-60 on Sunday. They outrebounded Senigallia 40-29 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Montegrano looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Naturalized Senegalese guard Ousmane Gueye (192-82) helped adding 17 points. Four Senigallia players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Montegrano maintains first place in B with 20-1 record. Loser Senigallia dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Montegrano will face San Severo (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Senigallia will play against Taranto (#15) and hope to win that game.
