Very predictable result when eleventh ranked Ortona (9-13) smashed at home 16th ranked Monteroni (3-20) 91-70 on Sunday. They outrebounded Monteroni 48-27 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for naturalized Argentinian point guard Victorio-Gustavo Musso (185-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (185-87) helped adding 19 points. Power forward Alessandro Paiano (204-86) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Federico Ingrosso (187-94) scored 13 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ortona moved-up to tenth place in B. Loser Monteroni keeps the sixteenth position with 20 games lost. Ortona will face higher ranked Campli (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Monteroni will play against Valdiceppo (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
