Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Cento (17-6) outscored on the road 12th ranked Sestu (8-16) 80-60 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Luca Pignatti (198-86) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Lorenzo Brighi (195-94) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Cento players scored in double figures. Giuliano Samoggia (200-83) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Romeo Trionfo (197-85, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Cento have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in B, which they share with Piacenza. Newly promoted Sestu keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Cento will face Desio (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sestu will play against the league's second-placed Bergamo and hope to win that game.
