Regular Season Round 22: Germani BR - Enel Brindisi 81-91
Date: March 12, 2017
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Enel Brindisi and 8th ranked Brescia had identical 10-11 record. But Brescia was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Brindisi 91-81. The game without a history. Enel Brindisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American point guard Phil Goss (188-83, college: Drexel) notched 25 points to lead the effort and American-Jamaican swingman Durand Scott (196-90, college: Miami, FL) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 18 points and 7 assists by American David Moss (196-83, college: Indiana St.) did not help to save the game for Brescia. His fellow American import guard Lee Moore (193-95, college: UTEP) added 22 points for lost side. Four Enel Brindisi and five Brescia players scored in double figures. Enel Brindisi (11-11) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Grissin Bon RE and Auxilium TO. Newly promoted Brescia dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Enel Brindisi's next round opponent will be AV Cantu (#12) on the road where they are favorite. Brescia will play against Openjobmetis VA and hope to win that game.
