Regular Season Round 23: Teramo - Forli Tigers 63-91

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Teramo (9-11) was outplayed at home by eighth ranked Forli Tigers (12-13) 91-63 on Sunday. Forli Tigers shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Luca Fontecchio (202-91, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Christian Villani (200-82, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Daniele Tomasello (205-93) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Andrea LaGioia (193-86, agency: Players Group) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Forli Tigers maintains eighth place in B with 12-13 record. Teramo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Forli Tigers will face Scauri (#9) at home in the next round. Teramo will play against Roma Vis Nova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
