The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked San Lorenzo (27-12) in Buenos Aires on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Ferrocarril (26-14) 70-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of San Lorenzo. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The best for the losing side was the former international Marcos Mata (201-86) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and American center Jerome Meyinsse (207-88, college: Virginia, agency: Stealth Sport) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Ferrocarril maintains second place with 26-14 record having just two points less than leader San Lorenzo. Defending champion San Lorenzo still keeps top position with 12 games lost. Ferrocarril are looking forward to face Regatas Corrientes (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
