Eighth-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (9-15) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Okapi Aalstar (13-12). Okapi Aalstar managed to secure only three-point victory 92-89. However their fans expected easier game. It was a good game for American swingman Yunio Barrueta (198-93, college: Barry) who led his team to a victory with 21 points. Senne Geukens (192-83) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Tre Demps (188-93, college: Northwestern) replied with 24 points and 4 assists and Romanian center Alexandru Olah (213-93, college: Northwestern) added 21 points in the effort for Belfius Mons-Hainaut. Five Okapi Aalstar and four Belfius Mons-Hainaut players scored in double figures. Belfius Mons-Hainaut's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Okapi Aalstar moved-up to fifth place. Belfius Mons-Hainaut at the other side keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost. Okapi Aalstar will play against league's leader Oostende on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against Liege Basket (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
