There was no surprise when 10th ranked Nova Ves (8-29) were defeated at home by sixth ranked Iskra Svit (20-17) 90-78 on Wednesday. Iskra Svit dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Nova Ves' 40. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Evan Singletary (185-94, college: Albany) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian point guard Sasa Avramovic (193-93, agency: BeoBasket) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Jamaican Phil Henry (203-91, college: E.New Mexico, agency: Global Sports Plaza) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and international forward Viktor Juricek (211-93, college: Texas A&M-CC) scored 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Iskra Svit have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 20-17 record. Nova Ves at the other side keep the tenth place with 29 games lost.
