An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Lahti. First ranked Lahti faced second-ranked Espoo United. Host Lahti (20-7) defeated guests from Espoo (18-8) 108-92. The game without a history. Lahti led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 61.3 percentage. Lahti looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Rashad Smith (201-93, college: Tulsa, agency: Diamond Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Mikko Jamsa (177-93) chipped in 22 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Lahti players scored in double figures. American guard Omar Calhoun (198-93, college: Connecticut) produced 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jeb Ivey (190-80, college: Portland St.) added 24 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lahti maintains first place with 20-7 record. Newly promoted Espoo United keeps the second position with eight games lost.
