Semi-Finals Game 1: Virum - Stevnsgade 72-53

Virum toppled Stevnsgade for 1-0 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Virum. Stevnsgade was better in fourth quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Stevnsgade 43-22 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Valerie Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 22 rebounds for the winners and her fellow American import guard Gillian Abshire (179-93, college: Quinnipiac) chipped in 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side the former international guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) responded with 20 points and American forward Cherelle Moore (183-93, college: Hartford) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Stevnsgade's coach Igor Gavrilovic rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
